The Israelites’ fear:
Exodus 14:10 describes the Israelites as “greatly afraid” and complaining to Moses as they saw the Egyptian army approaching.
Moses’ response:

Moses, instead of panicking, tells them to “fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord”. He emphasizes that God will fight for them and they only need to be still.
God’s intervention:

God then instructs Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea, and the wind divides the waters, creating a path for the Israelites to cross on dry ground.
Pharaoh’s army:

The Egyptians pursue them, but God confuses their army and ultimately drowns them as the waters return to their normal level.
Focus on faith:

The narrative highlights the importance of faith and trust in God, even in the face of seemingly impossible situations.

Moses as an example:Hebrews 11:27 emphasizes that Moses, by faith, left Egypt and “endured as seeing Him who is invisible”. This shows that even though Moses was facing a challenging situation, he maintained his faith in God.
